About the Role
Applications for the 2024-2025 NAESC Executive Board are due by Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST. The Vice President of Finance shall have the following responsibilities:
a. To administer the general operating funds of NAESC, Inc.
b. To serve as a Student Director, and faithfully execute all the fiduciary duties required of the NAESC, Inc. Board of Directors.
c. To manage the collection of annual dues from voting member councils.
d. To keep accurate records of all monies in the NAESC, Inc. accounts and of all NAESC, Inc. assets.
e. To return all information required by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of New York to maintain the status of NAESC, Inc. as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
f. To prepare a report of the general ledger for the current financial year and present this report to the Voting Delegates at the Engineering Leadership Summit.
g. To prepare financial statements for the Board of Directors at each Board Meeting.
h. To assemble and administer before the Engineering Leadership Summit any documentation required to transfer access to the NAESC, Inc. bank account to the incoming Vice President of Finance.
i. To solicit professional organizations and corporations for financial sponsorship of NAESC, Inc.
j. To create a comprehensive list of all sponsors during the financial year for each Regional Conference and the Engineering Leadership Summit to submit to the Annual Report.
k. To assist Conference Coordinators as necessary as they seek industry support for conferences.
l. To provide any and all information that may from time to time be requested by the General Auditor.
